Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace launches the “Just one football” program.

For several years, the Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace has been carrying out numerous activities related to amateur football, through its professional team, as well as the Racing Mutest Académie. “Summer Foot”, launched in 2014 when Racing was still playing National, thus enables hundreds of players between the ages of 8 and 13 to participate in a real sports competition, conveying to them the values of sport and a good life together, while the “Alsace Racing Tour” throughout the season sets out to meet Alsatian amateur football by offering fun workshops, football events and tournaments for young football players, boys and girls. Professional players, young people educated at the Academy, female players, and educators are present at every stage of these events.

In addition, Racing is contractually bound, through its Academy, to several partner clubs (there have been 22 so far) in Alsace and other regions of France. “These partnerships are based on a sports project and human values. They enable the best players of the signatory clubs to regularly participate in training sessions, and their educators to acquire a BMF (Football Instructor Certificate) on apprenticeship within our Academy, as well as hosting training sessions and relocated matches or tournaments »explains François Keller, director of the Racing Mutest Académie. “With amateur clubs, we share this popular spirit and values such as respect and passion. What has been done is great, but we have the desire to go even further and extend our activities to the whole area of Alsace, where the club is deeply rooted.”, adds Marc Keller, president of the RCSA. The Racing-Lorient match on Sunday 13 November in La Meinau, called the “Alsatian football match”, to which 700 volunteers will be invited, will thus be an opportunity for Racing to present its new system, called “One football only”, intended to promote amateur football. “This will allow us to strengthen our proximity to the 550 clubs in the region by providing them with concrete support, which will also help promote Racing among the younger generations.”emphasizes Benjamin Guthleben, Marketing and Communications Director of Racing.

After the 2019-2020 season, marked by the end of the championship, the leaders are facing the difficulties of retaining volunteers, and now also the increase in the price of energy. In this context, the Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace wants to support and complete the activities assigned by the FFF, the Grand Est Football League and the District of Alsace. The “One Football” system will be based on several axes:

LICENSEE ASSESSMENT

Racing will contribute to the promotion of the licensee in his pursuit of football by giving him the opportunity to participate in the Escort Kids system or in discovery days and meeting professional players at the Meinau Stadium.

SUPPORT OF THE CLUB

With concrete solutions, Racing will offer new opportunities for clubs to enrich their offer: contact with their partners and discounts with their sponsors, including adidas equipment, donation of derivative products, provision of a traveling club shop, ticket purchase championship, office of home matches, pre-selection for reception of the stage of the Alsace Racing Tour …

PROMOTION OF AMATEUR FOOTBALL

Through the “One football only” program, Racing will also support the promotion of this sport in Alsace, through communication campaigns that will rely on the club’s media partners and during home matches, and promoting the commitment of volunteers through regular invitations to the Meinau stadium. . Leaders of amateur clubs are invited to join the “One Football” network as a “Club of Friends of Runners” by filling out the form on the website. rcstrasbourgalsace.fr/un-seul-football. This “friendly club” status complements and reinforces the commitment Racing has already taken through its network of “partner clubs”, recognized for their sporting interest by the Racing Mutest Academy.
