Mitchell Arnott, the 29-year-old man who allegedly stabbed his father and mother to death before turning up at the hospital covered in blood, has been formally charged with the second-degree murder of his parents, Wayne Arnott and Louise Boucher.

The terrible tragedy happened around 21:30 in a family house on avenue des Érables, in Île-Bizard.
According to our information, a domestic conflict broke out in the house in the evening.

At some point, the 29-year-old suspect allegedly grabbed a knife and killed his father, Wayne Arnott, 60, and his mother, Louise Boucher, 65.
The alleged perpetrator of this double homicide then reportedly showed up at Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe-Claire, covered in blood.

According to our sources, he told medical staff that his parents attacked him with a baseball bat and then stabbed them with a knife.
Thanks to this key information, the police officers of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal were able to go to the address of the victims, where they discovered two lifeless bodies.

The couple’s son, Mitchell Arnott, was arrested and was still being met by major crime investigators on Thursday morning to give his side of the story.
